安家岭露天煤矿 安家岭煤矿项目位于国家规划的晋北煤炭大基地平朔矿区内,生产能力为3000万吨。[13] 安家岭露天矿于1999年12月正式开工建设。2006年2月14日至15日，安家岭煤矿项目通过国家组织的竣工验收。[14]
该矿生产的煤炭大部分用于发电。但该矿的7号高硫煤及其它煤层高硫、高灰区域单独开采，直接运送至山西中煤平朔能源化工有限公司做化工原料，用于生产合成氨、硝酸铵，副产液化天然气等。[15]
