盘县洪兴煤矿为生产煤矿，截至2022年1月29日，其生产能力核定为60万吨/年。

该矿有配套选煤厂，设计规模为90万吨/年。

2022年9月29日，贵州省能源局原则同意该矿拟建规模由60万吨/年调整为90万吨/年，矿区面积暂维持现有采矿许可证证载面积不变。
