柠条塔煤矿 是由国家发改委核准批复的陕西省神府矿区南区总体规划确定的四对大型矿井之一，设计生产能力1800万吨/年。[13] 柠条塔矿井于2005年11月开工建设，生产能力为1200万吨/年，2013 年通过验收正式投产。[14] 2015年4月20日，柠条塔矿井生产能力正式核定为1800万吨/年。[15]2022年1月28日，该矿生产能力由1800吨/年核增至2000吨/年。[2]

该矿产品以化工煤为主。截至2025年1月，该矿已与27家大型化工企业建立了稳定的合作关系，化工煤销量占比达88%以上。[16]该矿也出产电煤。[17]
