1996年10月19日5时40分，崔家沟煤矿发生一起特大瓦斯爆炸事故，死亡50人，重伤3人，轻伤13人。[16] 2010年9月12日，崔家沟煤矿发生一起机电事故，死亡1人。[17] 2018年7月8日，崔家沟煤矿发生一起其他事故，死亡1人。[18]
