2013年11月，国家发展改革委核准陕西榆神矿区西湾露天煤矿项目。矿井建设规模为1000万吨/年。

In December 2008, the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) has ratified the construction of Xiwan Surface Mine with production capacity of 10 Mt per year.

2019年1月，该煤矿获得陕西煤矿安全监察局颁发的安全生产许可证。

In January 2019, Xiwan Mine has received the safety production permit issued by Shaanxi Coal Mine Safety Supervision Bureau.

目前，暂未找到相关信息显示其开始试生产或已正式投运。
