Background on Project
In 2013 China Guodian (later National Energy Investment Group) was planning to build a coal-fired power plant with a total planned capacity of 2,000 MW in Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region.[1]
However, as of 2019 the project has yet to be permitted, and appears to be abandoned.
