Arvand Jahanara Steel Khouzestan plant (شرکت فولاد جهان آرا اروند (Persian)), also known as Arvand Jahan Ara Steel, is a 1500 thousand tonnes per annum (TTPA) electric arc furnace (EAF) steel plant operating in Khorramshahr, Khouzestan, Iran.

Background

According to the 2020 OECD report on steelmaking capacity, an additional 1.2 MTPA at the Arvand Jahanara Steel Khouzestan plant was planned for 2022.[2]
