Background
BPA Metallics Private Limited announced its plan to construct a greenfield integrated steel project at Patrapali and Kotmar villages, Raigarh, Chhattisgarh. The project includes a DRI plant (7,17,500 TPA), iron ore beneficiation (10,00,000 TPA), pellet plant (6,00,000 TPA), MS billets (6,12,500 TPA), rerolled steel products (5,82,000 TPA), ferroalloys, sinter plant, coal washery, MS pipes (3,50,000 TPA), oxygen plant, CPP (131 MW), fly ash bricks (54,900/day), and slag crusher (350 TPD). The estimated cos is INR 764.32 crores.[1]
As of Jan 2025, the project is in planning stage.[2]
