Background
In August 2023, APA Group signed an agreement with Empire Energy Resources to assess the feasibility of connecting Empire's acreage in the Beetaloo Basin with the existing Daly Waters to McArthur River Gas Pipeline.[1]
As of July 2025, no updates had been released on the pipeline in two years. As a result, the pipeline is considered shelved.
