Background
In 2024, APA Group filed an application for the Brigalow Pipeline Project, a 23 km pipeline to connect the Brigalow Peaking Power Plant to the Roma to Brisbane Pipeline. The pipeline will be required to transition to providing 100% hydrogen fuel over time to the power plant.[2]
Construction is intended to be complete in 2027, with the power plant beginning operations in 2028.[3][1]
