Ecolant steel plant (Металлургический завод Эколант) is a steel plant in Vyksa, Nizhny Novgorod, Russia that operates direct reduced iron (DRI) and electric arc furnace (EAF) technology.

Background
As of December 2025, the construction is in progress. At the beginning of 2022, Danieli (Italy) and Primetals Technologies (Austria) were mentioned as equipment providers for the project. It was mentioned in the media that the representatives and branches of these companies continued to operate in Russia, and no information about their withdrawal from the project had been found. The main consumer of the products manufactured at the enterprise will be the structures of the United Metallurgical Company (OMK). For example, the OMK Vyksa Casting and Rolling Complex, will produce large-diameter pipes and railway wheels from thick slabs manufactured at the new enterprise.[1]
