Egyptian American Steel Rolling Company Sadat City plant (الشركة المصرية الأمريكية لدرفلة الصلب), also known as EARSCo, Beshay Steel, is a steel plant in Sadat City, Monufia, Egypt that operates electric arc furnace (EAF) technology.

Background

The Egyptian American Steel Rolling Company plant in Sadat City was originally built by the American Morgan Construction Company in the 1990s. It has been operating with a primary steel-producing unit since 1998. It is owned by Beshay Steel group, one of the largest steel producers in Egypt. In September 2022, plant workers went on a strike to protest low wages.
