Ennore-Tuticorn-Bengalaru Gas Pipeline

The Ennore-Tuticorn-Bengalaru Gas Pipeline is an under construction natural gas pipeline.[1]


The pipeline runs from Ennore to Madurai, Trichy and Tuticorin in Tamil Nadu and branches out to Bengaluru via Hosur in Karnataka.[2] The exact route can be seen in a July 2014 plan submitted to the Petroleum and Natural Gas Regulatory Board.[3]

The Petroleum and Natural Gas Regulatory Board authorized GTPIL to build the pipeline in October 2015.[5] Construction began in June 2018.[6] In March 2019 the Ennore LNG Terminal which will supply gas to the pipeline was commissioned.[2] As of March 3rd, 2021, the pipeline had been partially commissioned with 165.82 kilometers in operation and 1265.18 kilometers under construction.[1]
