Kamarajar Port, formerly known as Ennore Port, is a major port at Ennore, north of Chennai, in Tamil Nadu, India. Ennore Port Limited was renamed Kamarajar Port Limited in February 2014.[1]
The port handles coal at the following terminals:
- Kamarajar Port Coal Berth 1
- Kamarajar Port Coal Berth 2
- Kamarajar Port Coal Berth 3
- Kamarajar Port Ennore Coal Terminal
It is also the site of the cancelled Kamarajar Port SICAL Coal Terminal.
Location
The port is located approximately 20km north of Chennai in Tamil Nadu, India.
