Erdemir Eregli steel plant (EREĞLİ DEMİR VE ÇELİK FABRİKALARI T.A.Ş), also known as Eregli Demir, is a steel plant in Ereğli, Zonguldak, Türkiye that operates basic oxygen furnace (BOF), blast furnace (BF), and electric arc furnace (EAF) technology.

Background
Oyak Mining Metallurgy Group owns and operates two facilities in Turkey, Erdemir steel plant and Isdemir steel plant.[1]
Erdemir S.A. was established in 1960, but the steel plant did not begin operation until 1965.[2]
