Fangchenggang Qisha power station (中电广西防城港发电厂) is an operating power station of at least 2580-megawatts (MW) in Qisha, Gangkou, Fangchenggang, Guangxi, China with multiple units, some of which are not currently operating.

Background
The first two coal-fired units of Fangchenggang Qisha power station, totaling 1,260 MW, were brought online between 2007 and 2008. The plant is owned by CLP Group.[1]
In 2014, CLP Group said it was planning to build two additional coal-fired units at this plant, with a total planned capacity of 1,320 MW.[1][2][3] The units are planned to be ultra-supercritical, and are planned for completion in 2016.[4]
Unit 3 came online in November 2016, and unit 4 in December 2016.[5]
Expansion
In March 2020, a 1,000MW coal-fired expansion at the power station was listed as a preliminary project in the Guangxi "Energy Network Infrastructure Plan 2020-2022" (《广西“能源网”基础设施建设大会战实施方案（2020-2022年）》).[6]
In June 2023, officials were still meeting about the proposed expansion.[7]
Coal supply
The power station receives its coal supply from a dedicated terminal, the CLPGX coal terminal. CLP Group has a long-term coal supply from Indonesia for the power station.[4]
