Gaslub power station (Usina Termelétrica Gaslub) is a power station in the pre-permit stage in Itaboraí, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. It is also known as Comperj.

Background
The Gaslub power station is a holdover from Petrobras' 2021-2025 strategic plan originally intended to be part of the Rio de Janeiro Petrochemical Complex (Comperj) Project.[7][8] News reports in 2021 and early 2022 indicated that the plant's viability was still being evaluated.[8][9][10]
As of October 2023, details of the project were still unclear. Brazil's national electrical agency ANEEL listed the plant as under construction[11]; however, Petrobras's GasLub web page described it as a future project to be developed with other investors[12], and Petrobras's Director of Energy Transition and Sustainability said in a June 2023 interview that the company had only recently revived talk of building the plant.[13]
