Grupo Acerero steel plant (Acería Grupo Acerero), also known as Acería Grupo Acerero, is an electric arc furnace (EAF) steel plant operating in San Luis Potosí, Mexico.

Background

The Grupo Acerero steel plant began operating in 2004 under Grupo Acerero.[1] It is a scrap-based plant.[2]

In 2017, the company broke ground for a new melting plant at the site, representing an investment of $95 million.[3]
