Guangxi LNG Terminal Transport Pipeline (北海LNG外输管线) is a natural gas pipeline under construction in China.[1]

The pipeline runs from Beihai, to Hechi, Guangxi, China.[1]

Background

The source of the pipeline is the Beihai LNG Terminal. The pipeline contains one major pipeline and 6 branch lines.[2] The total length is 1332 kilometers. [3]

Due to the dynamic change of the market demand, the major pipeline segment Liuzhou-Hechi and four branches were cancelled. The trunk pipeline was shortened to 497 kilometers and the total length shrank to 731 kilometers.[3]

In July 2020, the ownership of the pipeline was transferred to PipeChina along with the Beihai LNG Terminal.[4]

Beihai-Maoming Branch 粤西支线 (北海-茂名)

Beihai–Maoming Branch, also known as Guangdong West Branch (粤西支线), was partially completed in 2019 with the Beihai–Zhanjiang segment.[6] The operating date of Zhanjiang-Maoming segment is unknown. By September 2020, the pipeline has passed the completion inspection.[7] The line was fully put into operation on August 8, 2020. The pipeline is an important natural gas energy channel that connects Guangdong and Guangxi and promotes the construction of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and the Hengqin Guangdong-Macao Deep Cooperation Zone.[8]

Guangxi LNG Terminal Transport Parallel Pipeline 广西北海LNG外输管道复线（百色-文山）又称桂汽入滇天然气管道

广西 LNG 外输管道复线(百色—文山)工程起自西气东输二线南宁-百色支线工程(简称西二线南百支线)的百色末站(广西壮族自治区百色市右江区)外，止于云南省文山壮族苗族自治州砚山县。工程沿线途经广西壮族自治区百色市右江区、云南省文山州富宁县、广南县、砚山县共 4 个县区级行政区域，全长约344.4km，设4座站场，分别为百色首站、富宁分输清管站、广南分输清管站、砚山末站，14 座线路截断阀室，9 处山岭隧道，4 处水域大中型穿越。 管道设计输量 10×108m3/a，设计压力 10MPa，管径Φ508mm，管线材质L415M。工程总投资 29.41×108元。[15]
