Guodian Changchun power station (国电吉林龙华长春热电一厂) is an operating power station of at least 700-megawatts (MW) in Yatai N Street, Kuancheng, Changchun, Jilin, China with multiple units, some of which are not currently operating. It is also known as Changchun-4 power station (Unit 3, Unit 4), Longhua Changchun (Unit 1, Unit 2).

Background
Guodian Changchun power station is owned by China Guodian. Units 1-2 were 70 MW each and began operating in 2002. Units 1-2 were retired in 2013, after units 3-4 came online. Units 3-4 are 350 MW each and were completed in 2011-12.[1]
Ownership
On August 28 2017, China's State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council (SASAC) announced that China Guodian Corporation and Shenhua Group will be jointly restructured. Shenhua Group will become China National Energy Investment Group and will absorb China Guodian Corporation. It will be the largest power company in the world by installed capacity, as well as the world's largest coal producer.[2][3] The merger was completed on November 28, 2017.[4]
