Background
As of January 2024, H2 Green Steel had secured around €6.5 billion in total financing, including €3.5 billion in senior debt and up to €600 million in junior debt, alongside close to €300 million in equity. This funding, supported by a diverse consortium of lenders and investors, represents a major step forward in advancing sustainable steel production practices.[1][2]
