Hoa Phat Dung Quat steel plant (Tuyển Dụng Thép Hòa Phát Dung Quất (Vietnamese), Công ty CP Thép Hòa Phát Dung Quất (Vietnamese)), also known as Hefa Rongju Plant, is a blast furnace-basic oxygen furnace (BF-BOF) steel plant operating in Dung Quat Economic Zone, Quang Ngai, Vietnam.

Background

The Hoa Phat Dung Quat steel plant began its operations in 2017.[1] In 2023, the group will focus on implementing the Hoa Phat Dung Quat 2 Iron and Steel Production Complex project. The project is expected to be completed in the first quarter of 2025, increasing the crude steel capacity to more than 14 mtpa.[2]
