Coal Mine Background

The Huangling Jianzhuang Coal Mine's recoverable area is 48 square kilometers, with a geological reserve of 311.50Mt. The mine is a low gas mine, and the inclined shaft development method is adopted. The mine started in October 2008, with a designed production capacity of 2.4 million tons per year. The basic construction of the mine was completed at the end of June 2010, and in July 2010, it officially entered the joint trial operation stage. In November 2011, the mine passed the overall completion acceptance conducted by the National Energy Administration.[1] In 2012, the company expanded and upgraded its capacity from 2.4 million tons/year to 5 million tons/year. The Shaanxi Coal Production Safety Supervision and Administration Bureau approved the project’s production capacity.[2]
