Background
The owner of the plant, Hunan Valin Steel Holdings Co., Ltd., is publicly-listed on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange. Its largest shareholder at 29.07% is Hunan Valin Iron & Steel Group Co., Ltd., which is jointly owned by Valin Holdings Group Co., Ltd. (90.21%) and Hunan Development Investment Group Co., Ltd. (9.79%).[1]
The plant planned to build a 450m3 sinter plant to replace a 105m3 and a 180m3 sinter plants.[2] The 450m3 sinter plant was put into operation on July 31, 2022.[3]
