Jiangyin LNG Terminal (Garson Gas), also known as 嘉盛LNG调峰储配站 and 嘉盛燃气江阴LNG调峰储配站, is an in-construction LNG import terminal in China.

Background
iangyin LNG Terminal (Garson Gas) (嘉盛燃气江阴LNG调峰储配站) is a LNG terminal under construction in Jiangsu, China.
Jiangyin LNG Terminal (Garson Gas) is a proposed two-phase LNG import terminal (1.5 mtpa in each phase) in Jiangsu, China.[5] It is an inland river LNG terminal and will be located next to Jiangyin LNG Terminal (Zhongtian Energy).
The terminal was proposed by Garson Gas Co., Ltd and was reportedly permitted by authorities in April 2020. The estimated investment is 2.5 billion yuan ($381.5 million), and it is slated to become operational in 2022.[6]
The EPC contract was signed in December 2020. [7]The construction began in June 2021. [8]
By January 2023, there is no progress on construction.
In October 2023, a ceremony for the construction-start of the storage area was held. The capacity was down to 1 mtpa.[9]
The project‘s budget was reportedly 2.5 billion RMB in 2020, and the capacity was 2 mtpa.[6] The investment went up to 5 billion RMB in 2021 when it began construction[8]. And the capacity was down to 1 mtpa in 2023[9].
In June 2025, the local government is considering to approve a project change of this LNG.[10]
As of March 2026, this project is still under construction, with commercial operation expected in June 2027.[11]
