Jindal Shadeed Iron & Steel Duqm plant (جندال شديد للحديد و الصلب), also known as Vulcan Green Steel, is a steel plant in Duqm, Al Wusta, Oman that operates direct reduced iron (DRI) and electric arc furnace (EAF) technology.

Background
Jindal Shadeed Iron & Steel is a steel manufacturing company based in the Special Economic Zone in Duqum of the Sultanate of Oman. It is the largest privately-owned integrated steel producer in the Persian Gulf region. Jindal Shadeed has made commitments to foster socio-economic growth and support Oman's transition to a green, circular economy. The Duqum plant will be a hydrogen-ready green steel complex.[1]
