Kehler Baden Steel Works (Badische Stahlwerke), also known as BSW, Süddeutsche Drahtververarbeitung-GmbH (predecessor), is a steel plant in Kehl am Rhein, Baden-Württemberg, Germany that operates electric arc furnace (EAF) technology.

Background
Steel production at Kehler Baden Steel Works is scrap-based.[1]
Since 2019, waste heat from the plant has been used to supply the heating networks in nearby Kehl and Strasbourg.[2]
In 2023, Badische Stahlwerke signed a power purchase agreement (PPA) with RWE Supply & Trading to source renewable electricity in 2025 and 2026 from the Nordee Ost and Amrumbank West offshore wind farms.[3]
In 2025 it was announced that Badische Stahlwerke and Dutch Van Merksteijn will merge their rebar businesses to form Reinforcing Steel Europe.[4]
