Background
According to the announcement by the Hebei Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology in 2018, the company planned to sell a total of 8.08 million tons of production capacity to Jiangxi Shengbao Metal Materials Co., Ltd.[1] Currently, the company has been included in the list of steel enterprises to be revoked due to the withdrawal of smelting equipment as a whole.[2]
The plant officially ceased production and exited operations on December 7, 2018.[3]
