Longhua Baicheng power station (国电吉林龙华白城热电厂, 国能吉林白城热电厂扩建4×660MW常规＋1×660MW新一代煤电项目) is an operating power station of at least 400-megawatts (MW) in Dianchang Road, Taobei, Baicheng, Jilin, China with multiple units, some of which are not currently operating.

Background
Longhua Baicheng power station is a two-unit coal-fired power plant with a total capacity of 400 MW in Jilin Province. The plant was completed in 2011, and was originally owned by China Guodian.[3][4]
Phase II Units 3-7 had a preliminary feasibility report review in July 2024[5]. No further news emerged, and the project was shelved in April 2026[6].
Ownership
On August 28, 2017, China's State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council (SASAC) announced that China Guodian Corporation and Shenhua Group will be jointly restructured. Shenhua Group will become China National Energy Investment Group and will absorb China Guodian Corporation. It will be the largest power company in the world by installed capacity, as well as the world's largest coal producer.[7][8] The merger was completed on November 28, 2017.[9]
