Magnitogorsk Iron and Steel Works (ММК, Магнитогорский металлургический комбинат), also known as MMK, Magnitogorskiy Metallurgicheskiy Kombinat, is a steel plant in Magnitogorsk, Chelyabinsk, Russia that operates electric arc furnace (EAF), basic oxygen furnace (BOF), and blast furnace (BF) technology.

History

The plant was commissioned in February of 1932, when pig iron was first produced in the first blast furnace.[1]
