Menkeqing mine (中天合创能源有限责任公司门克庆煤矿) is a permitted coal mine located in the middle of Huji'erte mining area in Ordos, Inner Mongolia, China. It is sponsored and operated by Zhongtian Hechuang Energy Co. [1]

Coal Mine Background

In March 2014, the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) approved the construction of Menkeqing mine with production capacity of 12 million tonnes(Mt) per year.[2] In 2015, Menkeqing Mine was given the exploitation license by the Ministry of Land and Resources to extract coal.[3] In the year of 2017, it entered into experimental operation phase.[4]
