Miyaneh Steel East Azerbaijan steel plant (کارخانه فولاد آذربایجان, شرکت فولاد میانه), also known as Mianeh Steel, is a steel plant in Mianeh, East Azerbaijan, Iran that operates direct reduced iron (DRI) and electric arc furnace (EAF) technology.

Background
The Miyaneh Steel plant opened in 2017 with a 0.8 million ton per year capacity Direct Reduced Iron (DRI) unit. That unit uses domestically-developed PERED technology.[1] An additional Electric Arc Furnace (EAF) steelmaking unit with 0.8 million tons per year in capacity is under construction.[2]
