Neyriz Ghadir Steel Company Fars plant (مجتمع فولاد غدیر نی‌ریز), also known as Neyriz Steel Complex, NGHSCO, is a steel plant in Neyriz, Fars, Iran that operates electric arc furnace (EAF) and direct reduced iron (DRI) technology.

Background

The Neyriz Ghadir steel plant opened in 2018 with a 0.8 million ton per year capacity Direct Reduced Iron (DRI) unit.[1] In 2023, it added a 1.0 million ton per year Electric Arc Furnace (EAF) steelmaking unit.[2] The plant, like many in Iran, faces chronic issues securing water for production, and in 2025 signed a contract to explore the use of condensation towers.[3]
