Neyveli III coal mine

The Neyveli III coal mine is a proposed mine, operated by Neyveli Lignite Corporation (NCL) India Limited, with a capacity of 11.5 million tonne per year, located near the town of Neyveli in Cuddalore district in Tamil Nadu, India.

The mine will supply the 600 megawatt (MW) Neyveli Thermal Power Station and the 420MW Thermal Power Station I Expansion.[1]
