Background

The Rashmi Group decided to build the new capacity in Jamuria, Burdwan (West Bengal) and was anticipated to be completed in 2021.^[1] However, no recent updates on the progress of construction have been published. As of December 2023, the project is still in pipeline.^[2]

As of October 2025, there has been no updates on the development of the plant.
