Sarmad Iron and Steel Complex Abarkouh (کارخانه صنایع آهن و فولاد سرمد ابرکوه), also known as Abar Kouh Steel & Rolling, is a steel plant in Abarkouh, Fars, Iran that operates electric arc furnace (EAF) and direct reduced iron (DRI) technology.

Background
Sarmad Iron and Steel Complex began operating as a rolling mill in December 2016. In 2021, construction began to add an Electric Arc Furnace (EAF) with 600 thousand tons per year in steelmaking capacity. The company has also announced plans to add a Midrex Direct Reduced Iron (DRI) plant with 1200 thousand tons per year in iron production capacity.[1]
