Sergipe FSRU, also known as Terminal GNL de Sergipe, is an operating LNG import terminal in Brazil.

Background
The project, located in the State of Sergipe in the Northeastern part of Brazil, consists of the design, construction and operation of the 1516 MW combined cycle Porto de Sergipe power station, a 33km transmission line and associated facilities – including a floating storage regasification unit (FSRU), a submarine gas pipeline, and water intake as well as outflow pipes. The total project cost is approximately US$1.3 billion. It is anticipated that the IDB/IIC financing will consist of a combination of Brazilian Reais and US Dollar financing for an amount of US$ 238 million equivalent.[13]
The Sergipe terminal was commissioned in February 2020 as Brazil's first privately owned LNG terminal, supplementing the three existing terminals - Guanabara Bay LNG Terminal, Bahia LNG Terminal, and Pecém LNG Terminal - operated by state-owned Petrobras.[14]
Ownership
As of April 2021, the project was owned by New Fortress Energy[15][16], following New Fortress's acquisition of original project owner Hygo Energy Transition (formerly Golar Power)[17], a 50-50 joint venture between Golar LNG and Stonepeak Infrastructure Partners.[18]
In October 2022 Eneva SA acquired 100% ownership of the Sergipe FSRU and the associated Porto de Sergipe power station.[19]
