Background

Shaanxi Lueyang Iron and Steel Co., Ltd. has released a public announcement regarding the steel production capacity replacement plan and capacity transfer plan. The plan proposes to withdraw from two 60-ton BOF, withdrawal capacity of 143.75, and to build a 100-ton BOF with a capacity of 1.15 million. As the replacement ratio of 1.25:1, the remaining capacity of 462,500 tons, of which 260,000 tons will be compensated transfers to the Lansin Iron and Steel Group Company Limited, the remaining 202,500 tons will be used for other.[1]
