Background
The company has announced the construction of the capacity replacement, upgrade, and renovation project for a 1×155-ton steelmaking converter. This project is located in Yonggu Township, Xiangfen County, Linfen City, within the existing factory area. The main construction includes the dismantling of the existing 2×60-ton steelmaking converters and the replacement with one 155-ton top-bottom blowing converter, one 155-ton LF steel refining furnace, one 12-machine 12-strand billet continuous casting machine, and a 25,000 Nm3/h oxygen production facility. The total investment in the project is 794.7 million yuan, with an environmental protection investment of 28.4 million yuan.[1]
