Background
The Sial Gjogri mine is a captive underground coal mine located in the Pench Kanhan Coalfield, near the village of Parasia in Chhindwara, Madhya Pradesh, India.[5] The Sial Gjogri coal mine is owned by RCCPL, a subsidiary of the Birla Corporation, a cement manufacturer. The coal is transported to Cement Plant, Satna. The mine began "ramping up" production to reach peak output in 2019.[6]
