Background

In March 2018, SteelAsia announced its plans to construct a scrap-based integrated steel plant in Concepcion, Tarlac at the cost of USD 393.4 million (PHP 20 billion) with a capacity of 1.2 mtpa of rebar and wire rod.[1][2][3]
