Background

TY Steel is a joint venture between Chien Shun Steel (Taiwan), Son Li Electric & Machinery and Tycoons Worldwide Group[1]. Commissioned in 2017, the plant has a steelmaking capacity of 600 ttpa from 2 EAFs[2][3].
