Tangshan Ganglu Iron and Steel Co Ltd (唐山港陆钢铁有限公司, 新兴铸管新疆有限公司) is a steel plant in Tangshan, Hebei, China that operates blast furnace (BF) and basic oxygen furnace (BOF) technology.

Background
In October 2021, the company was approved to build a 1500m3 blast furnace and one 180-ton basic oxygen furnace, and eliminate the existing two 650m3 blast furnaces and three 75-ton basic oxygen furnace.[1][2]The project got approved by the environmental assessment in 2021 and is currently under construction.[3][4]
According to the announcement of the capacity replacement plan on November 24, 2021, the company plans to build a 1260m3 blast furnace, 1270m3 blast furnace and a 120-ton basic oxygen furnace, and eliminate 2 1080m3 blast furnaces.[5]The construction of the project commences in 2023.[4]
