Taran Gaole Coal Mine (神华集团有限责任公司塔然高勒煤矿) located in Ordos, Inner Mongolia, is a permitted coal mine with an annual production capacity of 10 million tonnes(Mt). It is the first ten-million-tonne scale vertical mine managed by China Shenhua Group

Coal Mine Background

In July 2008, the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC)has ratified the construction of Taran Gaole Coal Mine, with production capacity of 10 Mt per year.

Taran Gaole Coal Mine is still under construction, and is projected to be put into operation by 2022.
