Termosierra power station (Central Termosierra, Central Termoeléctrica La Sierra) is an operating power station of at least 460-megawatts (MW) in Puerto Nare, Antioquia, Colombia. It is also known as La Sierra power station.

Background
The Termosierra power station has operated as a combined cycle power plant since 2001.[9][10] Plant owner EPM (Empresas Públicas de Medellín) bills Termosierra as Colombia's most efficient thermal power plant, and the country's second largest after the Tebsa (Termobarranquilla) power station.[9][10][11]
EPM has reported the plant's capacity to be between 455[11] and 460 MW[9][10]. However, other sources report smaller capacities ranging from 353 MW[12] to 364 MW[13] to 393 MW.[14]
In August 2021, a fire damaged the steam turbine at Termosierra, reportedly reducing capacity to 246 MW[14], although Colombia's official government data shows the capacity holding steady at 353 MW throughout 2021 and 2022.[12]
