Ternium Apodaca steel plant (Acería Ternium Apodac), also known as Ternium Bar/Rod Division Apodaca, is a 600 thousand tonnes per annum (TTPA) electric arc furnace (EAF) steel plant operating in Apodaca, Nuevo León, Mexico.

Background

The Ternium Apodaca steel plant began operating in 1993.[2] The plant is 100% scrap-based.[2]

In 2017, Ternium invested US$ 1.1 billion into adding a new hot rolling mill at the Apodaca plant.[3]
