Uzmetkombinat steel plant, also known as Uzbekistan Metallurgical Plant; Uzbek Metallurgical Plant Uzmetkombinat, is a 1000 TTPA electric arc furnace (EAF) and open hearth furnace (OHF) steel plant in Bekobod, Uzbekistan.[1]

Background

By 2026, the plant is expected to increase steel production to 2100 TTPA, due to the construction of a new steelmaking workshop that is ongoing.[1][2]

OHF may be mothballed, in the first half of 2021 the plant has not produced any OHF steel.[3]
