Background
VNSteel Southern Steel plant was established in 2005.[1] It is formerly known as Phu My Steel Factory of Vietnam Steel Corporation[2]. In 2014, the company has converted into a company limited operating under the Vietnam Steel Corporation[3]. The plant has a steelmaking capacity of 550 ttpa[4]. using
