Background
In 2023, Vopak began submitting documents for a proposed FSRU and associated pipeline in Port Phillip Bay, Victoria. The 19 km pipeline will connect the regasified LNG to the existing South West Pipeline, part of the larger Victorian Transmission System. The infrastructure is being designed with the potential to import hydrogen in the future.[1]
