Western Kentucky University Heating Plant

The Western Kentucky University Heating Plant in Bowling Green, KY, has two coal-fired indirect heat exchangers, permitted to use up to 10,000 tons of coal a year.[1] The plant was constructed in 1927, and was added to the National Register of Historic Places on December 18, 1979.[2]
